Solved Verify SD card FAT32 partition is marked Active

January 16, 2016 at 17:31:36
Specs: Linux Angstrom, ARM 512MB
I need to FAT format a micro SD card and "be sure that the partition on the uSD card is marked as active". What do they mean marked as active? And how do I verify this?

It means so that you can boot from it - more often applicable to flash (pen) drives.

If your spec is Linux as given then await a Linux person. If it should happen to be Windows see this:

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks for the link Derek, that's what I needed. I will be loading Linux on it, but I can get it ready on Win7.
