Specs: Windows XP, x86 1995 MHz
A USB flash memory could not be read by windows anymore. I got the message that windows cant read it because it was set for unplugging but hasnt been unplugged. When I unplugged it and replugged it the problem persisted. How do I handle this?

unfortunately when thumb drives quit working, they are toast. That's why they sell them so cheap anymore I suppose. It is always safer to safely remove them every time before just pulling them out of the usb port....

It seems that is right so the best thing to do from now on is to use a card reader where the micro SD card could be removed if it stops functioning.
