I have tried changing the usb cord, i have tried puting it on different computer, but it does not get picked up the computer when i put it into the USB port. I can feel the motor or fan running within the hardrive when i plug it into any computer, but it does not get picked up at all, what should i do, please help, all my work is stored on it?

Look for a toshiba hard disk utility. Failing that get Hirens boot cd.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

Hirens has some data recovery tools.

Or try a Live cd like knoppix to see if you can see the disk. You might be able to get the data from it.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
