Upgrading cpu Compaq HP Presario F700

Specs: Windows Vista SP2, AMD 64 1,7ghz/2gigs
The cpu of my Compaq HP Presario F700
near touchpad there is adesive AMD 64 Athlon X2
in Panel Control there is: AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-53 1,70 Ghz.
CPU-Z diagnostic says: AMD Turion 64 Mobile TK-53
SIW diagnostic both these!

Whenever, I would upgrade my mysterious cpu. I ask for a help because I need more clock and L2 cache. There someone who wish help me, please? Many thanks

Go to HP site to see what they installed.

You can't upgrade it.

Don't bother with results from any of those. Just use what HP says and forget the rest.

AMD Turion 64 Mobile TK-53 is correct CPU designation:


Athlon 64 X2 TK-42 is the only CPU in that family which has 2 x 512 L2 Cache, but the difference would be negligible.

Upgrading to Windows 7 32bit would be better as you have the maximum memory installed already.
