|If it's a bios access password, it's possible you've forgotten that, but it it's a system access password - you must type it to use the laptop at all - or if it's a hard drive access password - why can't you remember a password you would have had to type EVERY TIME you used the computer ??|

If that says you can't remove a password unless you know what it is, then you can't remove it.
Removing passwords on modern laptops is difficult or impossible, unless you are the original owner and can prove it, or unless you are willing to spend money to have an expert remove the passwords, or you are willing to spend money to replace the mboard, and the hard drive if the hard drive is passworded.
