Specs: Win 7, Intel Core i5/4GB
Hi
I have just bought a laptop (HP G6 2298SE). This model came with DOS as OS. So I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it. I have downloaded and installed all the drivers but there is one unknown device in Device Manager. I have no clue that which device is that and how can I find its driver.
I have attached a screenshot of the Device Manager. Kindly help me. Thanks

HP says that model comes with Windows 8. Did you buy it new?

Try the utility linked below to identify the hardware. Keep in mind there may not be a driver available for Windows 7.

Did you install the drivers for the Card Reader? I realize that these are Win8 drivers, but maybe they will help identify the drivers you need installed:

You could Delete or Uninstall the sub-entry in Device Manager then restart. It might then find a driver on restart or delete the entry if it is not required.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
