Uninstalling from external hard drive

Specs: Windows Vista
firstly im trying to uninstall programs from my external hard drive but when i goto "Control panel" then uninstall a program it always shows me the c:drive i cant get it to show the f:drive (external).secondly ive backed up my c:drive to my external drive does this mean i can format my c:drive to clear all the space

What program are you talking about? Doesn't it have a name? Did the program come with the external hard drive - if so what brand is this?

It,s a michael jackson 500gb external hard drive the programs are files i downloaded from the internet that dont work i have tried just deleting them but it is staying at the same amount of bytes used so they might not be showing but they must still be there somewhere, sorry about this but i am rather new to all of this

To free up space on any partition after you have deleted items you need to empty the recycle bin.

Good call.

I couldn't get past the fact that a HDD manufacturer (Samsung?) would even market a MJ "tribute" drive, considering his lifestyle. Certainly nothing to celebrate. Anything for the almighty buck though, I guess?

Yes i get what your saying about the late michael jackson, well he had enough debt so i guess he does need every penny even if he is dead, i only brought it because the amount it held and how cheap it was, and also i like to download movies and they take up quite a bit of space.Do you know if its illegal to download using torrents
oh and thankyou i emptied recycling bin and it worked, now i feel thick
