unexpected shutdowns... i have restored and recovered...

Specs: Windows 7, 4gig ram; i7processor; 640 memory
my computer shuts down unexpectedly. I have preformed restore and recovery functions, 
but problem persists. whats the next step?

My system shuts down randomly. After I loaded the 3 discs need to recover, my computer shutdown during the reboot phase. I was able to finish the reboot by starting the cpu again. the problem persists randomly...

Frequently caused by overheating. When was the system last cleaned of dust? Does the fan work?

Overheating most likely cause, also possibly bad memory segment, especially if you also get random freezing.
Install Speedfan or similar to monitor temps.
Use compresses air can to blow out the dust.
Run Memtest86 from bootable CD to test memory.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
