AWRDACPI = Award ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface). It refers to the BIOS. It is not the motherboard model.

We need to know the complete specs - board, CPU, RAM, video. OK, we know the video, the Savage4 is from the late 90s. Is this an old Win98 machine? Did you install XP on it?

"s3 savage4 " OH my. I don't think so. I get the feeling that even a $300 new system would beat the pants off that computor every which way till Tuesday.

A Pit Bull is like a gun you can pet. And there is no safety on it.

Around here, we are able to buy ex-classroom computers (directly from the school) for about $40. These used machines are usually only a year or two old and have been well maintained. While they may not suit high-end gaming, they would certainly cope with most mid - lower-end games. Ask around at your local schools or community colleges, you might just pick up a bargain.
