Solved Trouble Booting, no Video, Board Starts & Stops

Specs: Linux x86_64
New Z77H2-A4 board starts stops, starts stops, Reset CPU several times, good thermal grease. Copper Heat sink.

CPU works in other machines.

If you're applying the thermal paste improperly, continually removing & replacing the CPU/heatsink without changing the method of application is going to keep you in a constant loop. Since you have an 1155 board, you should be using the "vertical line method". Other than that, you've given us very little to go on & have provided no system hardware specs.

What makes you think it's the CPU?

When you say it 'starts and stops', what exactly is happening? Does the computer shut off? Do you get error messages?
