Specs: Windows 7, 4 Intel(R) Core 2 Duo CPU T660 @2.20 GHz 4 gig ram
touchpad can't be adjusted. hyper sensitive. In Word it causes the cursor to jump all the page when typing, closes the program and opens another program. Very irritating. There is nothing in control panel to allow me to dial down the sensitivity. Can't find anything online to help. Can you help?

replace it.

A Pit Bull is like a gun you can pet. And there is no safety on it.

Look for a touchpad icon in the notification area (right-hand end of taskbar) and open it.

Otherwise, look in Control Panel > Mouse. Touchpad settings should be in there.
