Specs: Windows Vista
I have a Toshiba Satellite U505 with an I3 processor and Windows 7. I keep getting this message after the Toshiba Splash page:

Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Series v2.29 (06/30/09)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM

Reboot and select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

Can someone please help me out and tell me what the problem is and how to fix it.

First, disable PXE (network) boot in the bios and see what happens. If you still get the "insert boot device" message after that, you may have a crashed hard drive

Pentium 4s - The processors for the rest of us.
