Solved Toshiba Satellite Model issue

Specs: Win XP pro SP 3
Hi there,
I installed a free software to check the drivers of my friend's laptop and came up with all details and it also showed the full model of his laptop (Toshiba,Satellite A60-S159). I can't remember the name of the free software I installed to update his drivers.

Any help finding the name of the software (it's not a driverchecker) would be appreciated as I am having to find out what my laptop model is . All I know is Toshiba Satellite, A60 as per system information. It should be something after A60 as appeared above. Model No. On the sticker is not listed too. PSA67E-00 something is on it. I am stuggling to install drivers on my laptop.

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,
Bisan

Get the drivers from the toshiba site. Don't use driver programs like that.

✔ Best Answer
Go to Start, Run and type in

dxdiag

This will bring up a window with your system specs and model number.

Thanks for your msg. If I had known my full model no, I would have got all drivers from the manufacture site. The problem is Toshiba A60 alone is not listed there to download
drivers from Toshiba site. It should be something after A60. System information shows Satellite A60 and this is not enough for me to download drivers from their site.

Hope you get it figured out what my problem is. Thanks.

if dxdiag didn't give you enough info, you could try SIW. it will show you everything about your system.
