Toshiba Satellite M60 random shut-down

Specs: Windows XP, Celeron 1.86/1GB
My Toshiba Satellite M60 keeps randomly shutting-down. Can be between 2sec to 2mins before it dies. Its not overheating, battery is full (14.2Vish). BIOS gets past POST and sometimes it gets to the desktop before it dies. Tried without HDD, booting CDs. Internal buck-converters seem to be giving stable voltages. Dont know what to try next. Anyone any ideas before I try reflow in gas oven as last resort?? Thanks.

"Its not overheating"

How do you know this? Post the temp readings.

Simple, pure logic jim, oh sorry, i mean jam.
When it flicks off after 2 or 3 sec from COLD, then eventualy 'll fire up and stay on long enough to get to desktop before it dies.
Also it doesn't feel even warm to touch.
Fascinating. Energize.
