✔ Best Answer
Has it ever worked?

See 4-15 of the manual here - it can be saved:
http://forums.toshiba.com/tshb/atta...
The webcam should start with Windows if it hasn't been disabled.

A driver problem is possible. See if webcam drivers are listed here (if USA):
http://support.toshiba.com/drivers
You will probably need the additional characters after the main L350D number.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Did you install Win 7 64 bit or 32 bit?

From the Toshiba website: http://www.toshiba.co.uk/innovation...

I cannot find a 64 bit driver version for "Web Cam driver", only 32 bit version.

Not sure if it ever worked the laptop was, mother in laws!

System was originally running Vista, I upgraded to win7!

Downloaded and installed driver for 32 bit win7 from Toshiba,
Still no function, cant seem to enable the web cam.
Devices & printers says, USB 2.0 web cam is working properly????

"USB 2.0 web cam"
Are you saying this is an plug in webcam? In which case it will require its own drivers and we would need its make/model number.

I was under the impression that there was one built in, which should show in Device Manager (without errors) and is what the Toshiba drivers would relate to.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Great to hear it and thanks for letting us know.

If you get a chance:
What was this compatibility setting you changed and is the webcam built in or USB?

Built in, I tried 3 different drivers downloaded from Toshiba ( US,UK,CA).
one of the settings I opted for was win XP( SP2) compatibility, not sure now which driver it was! But I think it was the oldest(by date) anyway It works and I ain't doing that again! LOL
