I have a Toshiba C875 laptop motherboard. It has no monitor or keyboard, and instead has an external monitor connected via VGA and a usb keyboard. Is there anyway I can press a key on the keyboard to get it to switch to the VGA output for display? I know the keyboard that comes with the laptop has an FN key and usually you press that in conjunction with one of the F key to switch the display output during boot, but I don't have that. I'm prepared to purchase a replacement LCD screen and a proper 40 pin ribbon keyboard designed for the laptop but I would like to see if I could get it going with what I have currently. message edited by MSOSDev
See if I have it right. How do I setup my display on an external monitor?

Try Windows key + P
Neither methods worked. I'm going to order a replacement LCD screen designed for the laptop motherboard and an appropriate keyboard and try that.
