Toshiba A205 won't start up.

Specs: Windows 7, dual 1.67/2gb
Tosh A205 with Vista had problem of shutting down on it's own after a few minutes running. Thought it was a display driver problem i read about. I used Windows 7 upgrade and it ran until i shut it down. But sometimes it failed to start up sometimes Did not yet get Windows 7 drivers from Toshiba yet. Got display is crashing message, and laptop shut down. Won't start now. Screen remains blank. On light comes on but HDD light does not.
Pantera HDD health showed 120gig hd at 100% health before shut down. Also when I ran Vista in Safe mode it ran without the "shut down" problem.

Overheating? When's the last time you blew out the cooling vents?
