Specs: Windows XP
The box message "there is no disk in the drive.please insert a disk into drive\device\harddisk\DR3." is always in my desktop and cannot be remove. there was 3 buttons in the box message - cancel,try again and continue. what is the problem (cause) & how to solve the problem (to remove the message)?

Is this at bootup? If so the hard drive that contains Windows is not being read properly.
Can you boot up into BIOS and see what it reports in the drive detection section.

Sounds like you've got some software or maybe malware trying to access a drive that's not there--maybe a USB drive or SD card. Did you install any new software just prior to the problem starting?
