Install Speedfan or similar and monitor your internal temperatures and report back start up, idle, and full load temperatures to see if you really have a temp problem.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

What else is displayed when it prompts you to hit F1 to resume?

Does your computer feel hot when it shuts down?
Is the CPU fan running?

As mentioned by Fingers, download and install SpeedFan:
http://www.almico.com/speedfan445.exe

This will tell you if your CPU is overheating, which may cause the unexpected shutdown.

Has your PC turned off unexpectedly yet?

Use Speedfan to find out if the processor is overheating. It will provide the temperature of your processor. Anything over 70 degrees is too hot.

When the processor reaches its a certain temperature, the computer will automatically turn off.

Is it still displaying F1 to resume?
