System keeps restarting

Specs: XP Home, 4GB Patriot 1033
I have recently purchased a new mobo, cpu, and ram. I re-used the hdd and case & psu that worked properly with no problems.

I installed everything and the computer worked great for a day, next day went to turn it on it got to the login screen and restarted. It does this all the time. So I thought it was the PSU, so I bought a new one, yet still have the same problem. So I replaced the hdd with one that I freshly installed xp on and it restarts as soon as it starts to load windows.

I pulled one stick of ram out, tried it, still same problem, so tried the other one and no change.

Then I proceeded to pull some ram out of the other computer that I know works, and still nothing!
Being that I tried only IDE hdd's in it I hooked up the SATA hdd out of my main computer that runs Vista and the only difference was that instead of restarting I got the BSOD which said Windows has shutdown the drive to prevent damage to the computer and said something about a virus maybe the cause.

I have tried switching everything out other than the processor. I inspected the board for any popped capacitors and found none.

Anyone have a clue what could be the problem?

Did you uncheck automatic restart in system properties, advanced, startup & recovery?

Your troubleshooting skills are poor.

- Did you benchtest the hardware before you installed it in the case?
- Did you manually configure the BIOS settings for best performance?
- Did you test the RAM with memtest86 or memtest86+?
- Did you confirm the CPU temp is within the acceptable range?
- Did you reinstall Windows? You generally can't swap HDDs w/XP already installed from one system to another. You either need to run a "repair install" or reinstall XP from scratch. And a SATA HDD won't work without the proper SATA driver.

I can't get into windows not even in safemode.

I Checked the cpu temps when I first installed it, but everything else worked fine, So I didn't figure I needed to test. It is a computer used to run POS software. I used it for a full 10 hour day restarting it 5-10 times after reinstalling all drivers for the new hardware
I thought it was gonna work fine.

I did a repair install of xp and installed all new drivers.
