Super loud sound makes compuer freeze then restarts

Specs: Windows XP
Hello, My computer does the same thing. Makes an awful loud sound sometimes changing pitches. I am alwaysONLY listening to music or watching a video on you-tube.Never happens on Netflix or DVD movies. When it happens none of the keys work, escape enter, nothing and it just keeps going untill I pull the plug. I decided to see how long it would continue and it does shut down and re-boot with a light blue screen error message as a major problem please do a disk check. Anyway it re-starts and acts fine. I can never tell when it is going to happen but, it happened on a previous computer that was new and I immedieatly got the upgraded model only to have it happen again a year later. I have a fujitsu Lifebbook N series. Its a quality media center computer. The tech support had no idea what I was talking about and had no clue what to say. I did see a note somewhere in the computer once as a stuck key. Anyway, I presume it will eventually blow up the motherboard or something. I have done the disk check and it comes out fine.

I have no idea what you are talking about either. Your computer does the same thing The same thing as what. .

You say it reboots with a blue screen and an error message. You wouldn't care to share this error message with us would you. They often contain a wealth of information.

This loud sound. Does it come out of the speakers or do you think it is coming from inside the computer case? Check next time it happens.

What disk check did you do?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Sounds like a driver issue. if it's only happening when you are playing audio i'd check to see if there is any audio driver updates for it with that model or a bios update to see if any of the bios updates for that model display an issue with the audio chip itself, but try a audio driver update first and if it still does it only then search through the bios updates to see what patches were in the bios updates never update the bios unless you are having harware issues so this should be the last option if all other options fail and only if there is an audio fix for it.
