Hi, I was using my MacBook Air and spilled a large quantity of acetone nail polish remover directly on the keyboard and trackpad. I IMMEDIATELY turned it upside down and shut it off and wiped off the residual liquid, then let it sit upside down for about 15 minutes,

I held it in front of a fan for another 5 minutes and tried to turn it on. My MacBook always turns on very slowly so before it started I decided to shut it down again. Please please please what are my chances ):

your laptop start or not?
Try to start it and enter into your windows and open notepad and type something and check whether it is working,

Acetone evaporates pretty quickly but it also melts plastic so likely any damage has already occurred and won't be exacerbated by trying it out now.

The secondary problem is that nail polish remover is not just acetone but includes scents and moisturizers. These can be conductors on circuit boards.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
