Spilage on laptop, no working internal or external keyboard

Hi guys.
I have drink spillage on my Dell Inspiron 5030 laptop. I dried it and unpluged the laptop and everything seemed fine. I started to have problems with some letters later on. It went slowly and I couldn't type anything on the keyboard, only the mouse was working but laptop seemed fine. No change of graphics, power, anything. So I purchased external HP keyboard and it worked fine again - for some time. The same described problem occured. My problem is, I can't even log in as anything on both keyboards is working. Only mouse and laptop seems fine. I asked about quota repair service and they told me 200£ for motherboard but I don't think it's caused by motherboard because there will be no power. I' m not expert on, but I think something is underneath - pad touch or how it's called, disconnecting this part as mouse is working fine, no problem. I tried to push F4,F5 as well as F12, but as there isn't a reaction, it doesn't work. Any idea what I can do with that? Thanks.

"I don't think it's caused by motherboard because there will be no power"

An incorrect assumption. the liquid could have spilled on the just keyboard controller or southbridge chip on the motherboard causing those components to cease functioning but still have the motherboard power up just fine.

It could also be the internal keyboard causing the issue. Either way, you will need to take it to a repair shop to have them troubleshoot where the problem lies.
