Specs: Windows 7 32-bit, 4gb Ram
Hi i got a Biostar ta790gx a3+ mobo that im sure has onboard sound, but i cant get it to work. The cd that came with my mobo had all the drivers but win 7 wouldnt run it so i had to manualy install all the drivers off the cd. I made sure i got the Realtek sound driver installed but sound didnt work, so i thought i needed a win 7 driver and went looking for one but after getting it, my sound still didnt work.

Im using headphones in the back port and these headphones do work as they work in my brothers pc.

what could be wrong? any solutions or things i could try? please and thanks

Ok after installing that driver i found for win7 i couldnt run
CoD4 as i would get i3wmp.exe error, so i un-installed it and
installed the normal driver again but this time i noticed a error
which i missed before and it's.

"Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Famliy PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC
(NDIS 6.20) Failed

but on top of it i get.

"High Definition Audio Device Ready to use"

hope this helps

The Realtek message has to do with your onboard LAN, not your audio. The only place you should need to look for drivers is the Biostar website. I found them in less than 30 seconds:

Direct download, TA790GX A3+ 5.x On-Board Audio - Operating System: Windows Vista x86/Vista x64/Win7 x86/Win7 x64/
