|Basically three parts to a keyboard. One is the keyboard buttons. Second is a way to convert that signal and then a chip on the motherboard that converts signal back to a computer useful signal. It could be any of the three. Most people don't have an extra keyboard to use as a test. I guess you could at least look for any gunk or stuck keys but at some point you have to either guess or replace some part. Lastly one could check that the wire between the keyboard and computer is OK. |
