Solved SMART Hard disk error

Specs: Windows 8
My computer is displaying this error "SMART Hard disk error" after installing an new antivirus. Help me please.
I tried to browse some solution at http://********.com, and they told me that there might have happened a hard disk crash. What can I do?

That error is an indication that the hard disk could be about to fail and it might have already done so. If that is the case replacement is the only option, followed by reloading the system. How old is the computer and what is its make and model number?

There is a vague chance that this procedure might jerk it into working for a while:
Turn off computer, disconnect power cord, remove main battery if its a laptop. Before putting it back together again hold the Power Off/On button for at least 20 seconds to discharge the motherboard components.

The fact that the problem occurred after the installation of the AV program is probably a coincidence. Try running a HDD diagnostic program from a bootable disc.
