In the BIOS set the "Boot device" to "USB". Restart the computer (F10 from BIOS) with the USB stick plugged in. If you run the setup for windows it will show you the hard drives/partitions. C:/ usually is the default location for Windows setups.

Make sure the USB stick is plugged in before you restart your PC and it should appear in the BIOS under +HDD.

Remember to set the boot disk back to the SATA HDD when Windows 8 is installed.

If the USB Stick is recognized as a USB-HDD, it might get drive letter C and the Windows 8 hdd drive might get D or E or whatever.

When switching back the boot order after the installation, the windows 8 drive might get another drive letter. That might cause problems.

Correct me, when I'm wrong.

Windows 8 is a dvd.

You need a program that can write an iso file to a dvd.

Hang up and live.
