Solved shift+2 not getting @

Specs: Windows 7
In my HP-Pavilion dv6 laptop I am getting " insted of @ when I press shift + 2 and getting @ when I press shift + ' actually we have to get viceversa....how I can solve this problem....thanks in advace for your replys

Go into control panel
double click regional and language
Then click on Change Keyboard
Then change to English United Kingdom.

That should fix it

I think that it's the other way round. If you want <shift>-2 to be @ and <shift>-' to be " then you need to use a US keyboard layout, not a UK one.

but the default setting is English (uk) and I cant remove it for checking wth English us

ijack you are right, DOH, yes when you press shift 2 you should get "

if you want it the other way around, ie, you want @ then change the keyboard language to US
