Seeing if my components are compatible.

Specs: Windows 7
I am buying these products and would like to know if they are compatible with each-other, from what i can see they are but i always miss something and you guys are the experts so any help would be good.

The motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M LX V2
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965
GPU - Asus Nvidia GTX 550 TI

Thats about it and some DDR2 RAM (4GB) 2x2. Any help would be great. Nearly done pestering you guys :P. Thanks again :)

Your CPU is compatible.
Your GPU is compatible but you need DDR3 not DDR2 for your RAM.

The board I posted in your other thread is MUCH better. It's based on a more modern chipset & supports USB 3.0. And even if you're not from the US, they ship internationally.

Regardless of which motherboard you get, you'll need a good quality name brand power supply with plenty of amps on the +12v rail, not a no-name cheapie.

Ah i looked at that motherboard and was close to buying untill i looked at the shipping prices. If you recommend it i shall buy it from a local supplier. Yes power supply's, useless on them. Any ideas ?

Look for seasonic, corsair, expensive brands, they will last much longer than cheapo ones.
