Scrambled screen from boot

Specs: Windows 7 professional
I was browsing the net when my computer crashed i turned it off and then on again. Now when I boot all the letters of the text are scrambled, ive tried clearing the bios that didn't do anything. I have a gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo a intel E6600 cpu, asus 8800gts graphics, 4GB ram. any help would be appriciated

Bad ram or bad v-card, make sure the v-card is seated correct (try to re-install it), remove 2gb stick and boot with 2gb. Or if u have another system test the v-card.

Can't try different v card and I've just tried different RAM so
not that. I was reading some other posts is it possible its
malweare how could I tell? Thanks for the help anyway.

"Scrambled screen from boot" so the screen is a mess from post screen, it's hardware problem, did u remove the old ram when u install new ram? I told u to try your video card in another system not trying different video card.
