Specs: Windows XP
Hello..
the other day I wanted to turn on my working computer and this is what I got on the black screen:
Scanning BIOS Image in hard drive
Bios auto recovering................(infinite dots while autorecovering) I left it to auto-recover but it couldn't
I reseted it few times but didn't help. reseted the battery, set a jumper to CLR_CMOS but didn't help...

How can I flash BIOS if I can't even get to POST ??

Thank you in advance

If we assume bios has somehow been damaged then you may need to use a usb drive with a bios file on it. Some computers (only some of the very newest0 can boot to a bios recovery mode. See owners manual or OEM web site for details.

If you can't recover bios then the last thing may be to fully power down. Press power button a few times and try to re-clear bios. Be sure to put the jumper back before you attach power plug.
