Did that SD card previously work in that phone?

Hi! :)
I'm not the same person from before, but the same thing happened to me.
Yes, the micro sd card was working 5 minutes before...

Ok, now that I know my posts can be submitted...:)

I was taking pictures with my HTC Evo *shakes fists at HTC* and out of the blue it said my Micro SD Card was full. So I thought "Ok, I will just go to my Gallery and email some pictures to myself" (I was outside on the street). I went to my Gallery and it read on the screen something like "Please Insert an SD Card". "Whaaaaa????"
I also had this program that let me access my SD Card like a folder and it said my SD card was EMPTY. I then got home and tried to have the pictures and files transferred to my computer and the computer cannot read my Micro SD Card. It kept asking me to insert a Micro Sd Card. Great,

Does anyone have the slightest idea how can I recover the pictures if neither my HTC Evo nor my computer can recognize my Micro SD Card, please? :)

The Micro SD Card was originally inside the HTC EVO when I bought it.

Geek Squad is not taking it to fix/recover because they said the "Protection" or whatever it is that I pay monthly to them does not cover the SD Card because "it's not vital for the phone". I disagree, but we all know that makes no difference... ;)

Any light on this would be greatly appreciated. I've never asked for help online, so I have no idea how this works, sorry. :)

Does it help to mention that not much after that happened (about a week after), I touched my phone and this what it'd seem to be a kind of World of Warcraft/ video game music started to play and no matter what button I pressed, the music wouldn't stop. It only stopped after I clicked the System Update button.

So maybe the HTC has a virus that corrupted my SDCard? Would that change the way to recover its files?

The phone was very "freezy" for a little while as well.

Sorry, I'm trying to give as much info as I can.

It's actually a Samsung Micro SDHC Class 2.

PlasticCup, you need to start a new thread here at This thread is almost a month old now and the original poster never replied back so the thread is effectively dead.

I guess the best forum for your problem would be the hardware forum that you are currently in. Give as much information as you can, just like you did here.
