Ok this is a strange one. I have a system with an old geforce 7 series agp. The card is dieing so I wanted to change it for another. I had a fx5xxx agp laying around and when I try to boot its like there is no sata drive. So I put the old one back and now it boots. Then I tried a 9 series this time a epci and I get the same damn thing? This is an asuse 04v8000 board. I read somewhere that too many boot managers could do that so I disabled the network and raid boot menus but that didnt help.
