Sandisk Cruzer 8GB USB flash drive shows zero byte

Sandisk 8gb cruzer usb 2.0 flash drive

Specs: Windows 7, AMD X4 2.5
Hi , I'm having problem with my flash drive and I surf google for like 5 hours but i can't find any solution . I did found one but it doesn't fix my flash and it always said install failed . My flash drive appear as 0 bytes please help

Flash drives do eventually fail. Try inserting it into another machine. If it still reads zero bytes, then it's likely gone for good. If not, you probably have a problem with your USB ports. If that's the case, then have a look here:

Try a third-party partitioning program and read in the drive. Maybe the partition on it is smaller than the drive.

I hate BSOD's

As mentioned, if it doesn't read some other way, you'll be forced to replace it.

Did you try it in another computer as suggested in #1?

If you right click the Flash Drive from Windows is there a Format option?
