Well I don't think its necessary to overclock my GPU, but its fun to have more power in a already powerful card. So I just want to know the safest overclock settings for my MSI GeForce GTX 470.
My settings now:
Core Clock: 1674mhz
Shader Clock: 809mhz
Memory Clock: 404mhz
Core Voltage: I think it's on auto mV
why do u need more power if u can run any game with high settings and get enough fps? 40 to 60fps u will not notice anything.
Your numbers are all out of whack. The GTX 470 is generally clocked something like this: core clock: 600MHz
shader clock: 1200MHz
memory clock: 800MHz (actual), 3200MHz (effective)Here's a couple of overclocking articles:
yeah my numbers what wrong... the version of msi afterburner was a bit off...
but i managed to over clock my screencard and, but it became more, warm... 105 degrees Celsius :O...
yeah...s--- happens!
