Specs: none, p3 600
i have aquried and older asus p2b-ls and i had read on one site that the board only goes up to 600 mhz. i read on another site that if i change the jumper settings i can get up to 1ghz i have a p3 850 i would like to use. how would i go about setting the bf and the fs on the motherboard. the manual only talks about a p2 processor of the same slot. does anyone know how to set the jumpers so i can run the 850 mhz or higher processor

Unless you have an engineering sample (ES) CPU (unlikely), the clock multiplier is locked. Jumpers bypassed. The CPU will run at 850MHz.

it looks like i can go up to 800mhz but the asus site says since pcb 1.04 since bios 1013.004 with a note of the later shipment of the same PCB version. what does this mean and would i have to change jumpers i had updated the bios to the latest beta bios they give out. are they meaning u can run the processor with the bios update or does it have to be the board with the factory set bios update?
