Replacing my X850 Pro

Ati Radeon x850 pro video card

Specs: Windows XP
A few months ago, my Radeon X850 simply
stopped working. No warning, no signs of
immanent doom, the computer simply didn't
turn on the next morning, and we had to
switch to onboard graphics to get anything to
show up at all. I had no money at the time,
and my parents weren't willing to buy me a
replacement, so I've been stuck on onboard
graphics for a long time (and it sucks!)

But, now I have some cash, and I'm looking for
something that can just get me back up again.
I want something that will at least do what the
old card would, but I don't really want to go
past $75 or so. My computer is mainly used
for sim-genre games, so we're looking at MS
Flight Simulator 9, Lock-On, and MX Simulator
as the main things to work with. I originally
planned to go ahead and get another X850, but
I don't want to just get a card without having
some information.

It's AGP.

The best AGP card made is the Radeon HD3850. There is nothing better for AGP & probably never will be:

Make sure you have a decent power supply. A weak PSU *may* have been the cause of your X850 giving out.

Thank you for your help. I'll probably order the card tonight.
