First question is this. How do you know the Wifi adapter in your laptop is bad?

As OtheHill alluded, you need to determine what the problem is. It might be a bad internal wifi card, but it could possibly be something else - driver issue, infection, etc. Have you run a full virus/malware scan? Have you tried removing the wifi entry from Device Manager & then rebooting? Have you tried reinstalling or updating the wifi driver?

As for the list you posted, I have an older version of the TP-Link; 150Mbps, single band. I've had it for over 5 years & it's still going strong. I use it for a desktop. It might be a little cumbersome for a laptop. If you travel with your laptop a lot, you'd probably be better off with the Edimax nano adapter. Just plug it in & leave it in, rather than constantly having to plug/unplug the larger TP-Link.
