Replace Fujitsu laptop screen or inverter?

Hey guys, I got a laptop to look at, the screen often does this flickering thing, like a TV with no reception; that snowy no signal picture.

The brightness of the screen remains intact and stable so I'm tempted to say it's not the inverter but I wanted more opinions before I splash out on parts.

Could it be one of the two or even just a case of looking at the wiring?

It's a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li2727 if that helps.

I'd say don't waste your time. If you were lucky enough to guess the correct part it may cost just too much. A new laptop is pretty cheap, has software, warranty.

Ha! I've had this problem for three years. And now I solved it. By using a sharp object, of course. Just slightly open plastic above keyboard on the left side (near esc key), above charger plug, where the on/off button and left speaker is. Don't worry, it won't get broken. Then you'll see few cables that go to the screen. While you open a laptop a cable gets kind of jammed on part that rotates, and that's the problem. Move it to the right a bit, get the plastic back, so you can normally open/close the lid. And that's it.
