Replace existing hard drive with larger one

Microsoft Windows 7 professional 64-bit

Specs: Windows 7
I have Windows 7 on a 160 GByte hard drive. It is too small and did I buy a new 1.5 TByte drive. How do I mirror the hard drive so that I do not have to re-install all my programs?

The new drive should have come with an installation cd which will have a cloning utility. If you don't have the disk, you can usually download the utility from the hard drive manufacturer's site.

Now that's what I call a sticky situation
