Specs: Windows 7
I am seeking instructions as to how to remove the bottom cover of a Dell Inc. Vostro 3700 A10 so that I can clean out from under it. Unit is running hot and preliminary inspection leads me to believe cleaning under the cover would be helpful in resolving this issue.

This manual might give you some ideas:

This one is for a 3500 but it might be near enough to help:

It doesn't seem that the base comes off in one chunk as you were hoping.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Try blasting compressed air into the cooling vents; 1st one direction, then the other. And generally you don't remove the bottom of a laptop to access the innards, you remove the top (keyboard, bezel, etc).

I agree with riider. Any crap that is in there came through those vents. Should come back out the same way. Use canned or compressed air. DO NOT use a vacuum cleaner in it.
