We need the make and model of the computer to properly help.

If it has a separate monitor it might have controls on the front.
Otherwise there could well be controls in your display card settings, via Control Panel. They could show as color settings.

Another possibility is that there is an F key provided for this.

So, without the info it is a big guess because we don't even know if it's a laptop or PC.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Sorry, I am a 'newbee' at this. It is a separate monitor (Dell S2309W flat monitor) with 'signs' on the front right of the casing. I have cataracts and cannot see the markings very well (even with a magnifying glass!). It is a black casing.

Look under the heading "Operating the monitor" (nearly half way down, no page numbers). Try the Auto adjust for starters - #3 in the table:
http://www.manualmonitor.com/manual...

There is also Brightness Adjustment under the heading "Using the On-Screen display (OSD) Menu", just a little bit further down the page.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
