Problem with Server

Specs: Cent OS 5.3, 6GB
Hi I have a server. If I switch on the server the monitor is not displaying anything and the keyboard and mouse are not detecting.

All the cables are well connected to the ports and the machine is on.

I think some hackers might have erased the BIOS in my server.

Can you guess what might be the problem with the server? and help me to solve this problem.

The chances of someone hacking your BIOS are about a billion to one. Even if the BIOS was corrupt, you would get some sort of video. I suspect your PSU has gone bad or possibly the motherboard.

You don't say whether the server is actually working. Can you ping it or otherwise access it from the network?

If not I'd agree with THX, but I think he was being generous with the odds. I would say that there is zero chance that your BIOS has been hacked (unless someone has had physical access to the server - then all bets are off; who knows, they might have stolen the processor, which would give the symptoms you describe).
