Specs: Windows 7
My laptop's builtin keyboard started 2do some funky things and it is extremely frustrating. the following keys have stoped working properly and are typing other things or not working at all. "7" types 75, "backspace" & "i" no longer work, "j" types j\, "m" types m7. Pretty random, I am not a fundy with these things but am hoping its not hardwear related as I dont really wanna take it in. the laptop is less than a year old & I plugged a usb keyboard which worked perfectly.

Why not contact the amnufacturer as it will still be under warranty. Do it NOW before it's too late.
I think they will have to replace the keyboard

it is still under warranty but I am trying 2avoid taking it in if it is something I can sort out as it is a work PC and I don't have a backup.

good excuse, but you wait too long then you get nailed...choice is yours, it looks like a hardware problem

Ja, it appears to be something 2do with the hardware. Still got plenty time on the warranty but my sanity is suffering!
