problem in installing modem

Specs: Windows XP
i cant install properly my usb modem broadband..evrytime it says installed not succesfull.. please help

Are you following the instillation instructions to the letter. There are various ways of installing USB devices from simply plug it in and away you go to installing the software first then plugging it in.

Have a look in the folder where the a software was installed. There may well be a configuration file that gives you an indication of why the instillation failed.

If you need any more help the model number of the Modem would be useful.

the installation always cut off..before i reformatted my pc my wifi was disabled when i tried to enable it crashed..now i cant use my internet connection (usb modem).my pc model is vaio vgn-nw25gf...help me please

Now I'm confused. I asked for the model number of the Modem and you gave me the model number of the PC.

Now you are talking about wi-fi. No USB Modem that I know of has Wi-fi cab abilities, that usually means a wireless router. So exactly what have you got
