Specs: Windows XP
I have a Dell 942 all-in-one printer that I love but have been trying to print greeting cards and they are thicker than printer paper and it keeps jamming or just starts and stops and says out of paper.

Have you read the manual? There should be an adjustment for different stock. The stock you are using may be too thick, however. Look for a lever near the print head that raises and lowers the head.

If the stock has fuzzy edges you may not be able to auto feed.

Printer says it has a sensor to detect the type of paper. I could change it manually but it has such things at photo, transparencies, stock. I changed it to stock (not knowing what that means) but it didn't help.
