Power Suply Problem

Specs: Windows Vista
I having problem on my laptop as when i plugged directly to power supply the laptop will be hang and if i cut of the power and just used the battery adapter the laptop will be ok. Can anybody help me?

The problem is adapter can't supply enough power to make laptop work well.

edit.. Try to remove battery and connect direct.
if the pc still hang replace adapter.

hi kuwese, thanks for the advice but i have done that but the result is the same, has remove the battery and connect direct but the pc still hang. I went to computer shop to replace the adapter but the same problems occured. If it to do something with the hardware setup or where could i check on the hardware or software that what failure it refers to? Could you come out with any suggesstion

Friend of mine used to have same problem that u have when he use adapter pc hangs,freez,lag but he use battery pc works fine but he solved the problem by replacing adapter and he told me that the adapter couldn't supply enough power to the pc. I still suspect u have hardware issues. Is the laptop under warranty?

Hi kuwase, the warranty has lapsed as it only for one year. Maybe i will try to change for universal adapter. What do you think
