Convert wireless subwoofer to wired. Possible to use Samsung wireless sub no soundbar?

I've seen a few posted questions like that, different models, every few months.

Mine is supposed to pair with a soundbar, and that piece has the inputs and such.

I just took the sub apart, looks pretty straight forward to wire it to use as a sub, at VERY worst would need to supply an amp (speaker connection Is simple push in). A little hifi monoblock 200w ish would be plenty. Flying squirrel used to make one that would have been perfect.

I'll post some pics of how to bypass the control so the amp is always on, and show the simple way to just get at the speaker too I guess.

My question is since the sub connects to a soundbar by bluetooth, WHY cant I see it at all from my phone or other bluetooth devices? Is there a way to do that ?

Thanks. Oh, this is my first post on the forum I've gotten so much great info here tho, and hope my meager knowledge can add to the pile.

Is there a pairing button on the subwoofer which has to be used to allow the main soundbar to pair with the sub; i.e puts the sub in pairing/discovery mode?
