Solved Possible bios motherboard problem?

Hi all, i own an Intel DX48BT2 motherboard. It has 8 usb ports. Now my concern is that i can't move around in the bios when my keyboard is plugged into the bottom 4 usb ports. If i have my keyboard plugged into the top 4 i am able to move around in the bios.

I have tried other keyboards and i have updated my bios to the latest. Does anyone have any clue what might be going on?

Thanks.

Do other devices work in the bottom USB ports?

If the only place they don't work is in the BIOS then take the pragmatic approach and plug the keyboard into one of the top four ports.

I checked the bios and usb legacy support is already enabled.

I also tried installing an older bios version and the problem has disappeared.

I guess there is a glitch with the newer bios versions.
