Please help! no video ram

Specs: Windows 7, i5 3570k 10 gigs
i have a radeon 7770 ghz edition overclocked with 1gb ddr5 ram but in the bios and other online websites it says i have none, please help!

If it's an actual graphics card that's fitted in to a PCI or PCI-E slot, it isn't supposed to be listed in the BIOS at all. Only the on-board graphics adapter is listed in the BIOS, and when you fit a graphics card the on-board one is automatically disabled.

Further to the above, if the Radeon is an on-board graphics adapter, they often do not have any dedicated video RAM. It uses some of the system RAM instead, that's known as "shared" RAM.

You listed your CPU as an i5 3570k. It has Intel HD 4000 graphics integrated into it. The HD 4000 has no graphics memory, it uses system RAM. Make sure you have the monitor cable connected to the video card, NOT the motherboard port.

thankyou both i have just gona and bought a new monitor which is hdmi/dvi and it seems to have solved the problems as i wass using a vga monitor with an dvi to vga adapter, thanks!!
